Which is More Deadly?

Am I remembering this wrong?

Wasn’t there a (mebbe 1980s) study in which some kind of rodent would “push the button” for cocaine until it either died of starvation (the food button was apparently far less attractive) or its heart (basically) exploded?

So . . . me, you, all of us, “pushing the keyboard buttons” (while we get fat, out of shape, and sunshine-deprived and the country goes to Hell in a hand basket)?

That’s different . . . how exactly?

Jus’ wonderin’ . . .
