Do you see that as an absolutely explicit and literal requirement to accept Christ? Or do you believe that “following Christ’s example” (however you might construe that), “living a Christian life,” under whatever name, is sufficient?

I’m thinking there have long been theological arguments about “salvation without revelation,” what to think about the “souls of heathens,” for example, native peoples with no exposure to Christianity.

I believe that one take on that has been that “those living in ignorance of Christ” but “living a moral life” might be saved (or put in limbo) but that those exposed to Christian “truths” who “choose” not to accept them have damned themselves.

Looking to understand . . .

Thx,

Don
